School Attendance equals School Success
School Attendance equals School Success

At the beginning of each month, you receive a report that outlines the attendance of your son/daughter. Often, we are asked “how many days do students typically miss?”

Research shows that when students miss 10% or more of school*, they are at risk of academic struggles because they are not present for instruction and learning opportunities.

The current attendance report represents data for the 71 school days to date this year. If your son/daughter has missed seven or more days, he/she is considered chronically absent.

According to multiple studies, missing several days of school significantly reduces the likelihood that students will graduate from high school. With attendance a crucial factor to keeping kids on the right path to graduation,

Every Minute Matters - If a student is 10 minutes late to school each day, this adds up to missing more than 30 hours of class time.   This is disruptive to the learning of both the student and his/her peers in the classroom.

We are always here to help to ensure that each student is present and on-time every day.
