Last spring, we created new rules on our playground due to an increase in inappropriate behavior during the afternoon and evening hours. Individuals who were not associated with our Elementary Schools made decisions that negatively impacted children and families wishing to use the space. We are happy to report a dramatic improvement with many thanks to the Oneida Police Department for their commitment to strictly enforce these rules. It is so refreshing to see so many families and children now able to enjoy the playground together!
As we start the new year, please remind children of these rules. As an important reminder, adult supervision is required at all times for all children. Thank you for helping to keep our wonderful playground a safe place for all kids and families to enjoy together.
